Because everyone and their mother hops on a plane during the holiday season, traveling can get a little expensive near the end of the year. Luckily, Expedia’s 2022 Black Friday event makes it easy for you to book your vacation at the lowest prices you can find. Find travel tickets, hotel rooms, and more at prices so amazing you’ll change the way you schedule your vacation forever.

Expedia Black Friday Deals & Discounts

With Expedia, you can book cruise trips, flights, and hotel stays all in one go. During their Black Friday event, Expedia offers members discounts on select hotels and cruises. They change up the discount percentage every year, but thanks to their long-lasting partnership with Hotels.com, customers are always guaranteed savings on hotels.

2021 Expedia Deals

For 2021, Expedia offered up to 30% on over 3,000 hotels and cruise packages across the globe for their Expedia members. Along with the discount, Expedia also provided an amazing gift guide that displayed all the amazing places you and your family could go to at the marked-down prices. Customers did not need to pick directly from the gift guide to enjoy the deals, but it was nice of Expedia to give their members some ideas. The offer was only available for vacations booked between November 16, 2021, to April 30, 2022.

Here are some of the popular destinations they included in their gift guide:

  • New York City, NY
  • Athens, Greece
  • Chicago, IL
  • Bogota, Columbia
  • Houston, TX
  • Nashville, TN

Discounts for Members

The 2021 Black Friday discount was only available for members of the Expedia Rewards Program. Joining the rewards program is completely free. All you have to do is create an account on Expedia.com, download the Experia app, and book your trips, as usual, to start earning rewards. The 2021 Black Friday offers were available to anyone who joined the Expedia member’s program until the last day of the event on November 29.

2022 Expedia Deals

For this year’s Expedia Balck Friday event, members of the Expedia Rewards program can expect many great deals on hotels and cruises. Last year, the discount percentage was relatively low compared to previous years because the traveling industry stagnated that year, especially for international travel. However, international travel has picked up exponentially this year, which means Expedia will be more than happy to dish out super deals this time around.

In-store Black Friday Dates: November 16 – November 29

Expedia has no in-store deals because there are no Expedia physical stores. There are some Expedia Cruise Ship Centers in certain regions, but these are travel agencies. You could go to your local Expedia Cruise Ship Center and ask an agent to book your travels for you, but these are all done online anyway, so you’ll be getting the same exact deals you would get if you book it yourself.

Online Expedia Black Friday: When do deals start going online?

All Expedia deals can be found online starting November 16. Although Expedia will primarily promote their hotel deals, don’t forget to check out their cruise packages as well.

  • Expedia Black Friday Online Dates: November/12 AM
  • Expedia Black Friday Cyber Monday Dates: November 29/12 AM

How Do I Get Black Friday Deals Before They Run Out of Stock?

Although Expedia deals don’t go out of stock like traditional items do, you’ll need to be quick before the hotels fill up before you can book with one you like. The best way to go about it is to come up with multiple destinations you would like to go to and have multiple backup plans ready if the main destination is all booked out. Plan your trips around the first two weeks of December. Around this time, people are busy doing their holiday shopping and only really start traveling in mid-December. Things start loosening up near the end of January when the kids are back in school, the temperature isn’t so cold in many regions of the country, and everyone is back from visiting family, so plan your trip around that time.
